Hello, I'm very suprised that I'm even thinking about writing a blog with four children, but I need to exercise my brain cells as I have suffered from double baby brain for far too long. It's definitly true, in my case anyway, that my memory has become a little rusty following the birth of my twin girls eight months ago. Its come to a point now that I've run out of the excuse "I've not long given birth" to excuse the haphazard attempts to keep my life in order - the same as my total lack of muscle tone in my abs and the fact that I am no longer breast feeding so really didn't "need" that extra biscuit or two!
So, list of to do's:
write a blog
Start slimming World
Earn more money
Exercise
That will do for now. If there are any twin mummys out there reading this, maybe you could give me a few tips on the challenges I'm facing and I will try to do the same.
First one being, is there a pushchair on the market which will fit through my front door? at the moment I take the girls for a walk, then have to wake them again when I get home - I suppose I could keep walking as that would certainly help with the stone I need to lose, but then who will tidy the house, do the washing, puree the food, make the tea etc etc.
Another challenge - baby weigh ins at the Children's Centre. For some reason we are not allowed to push the buggies into the centre, not a problem with one baby, but try carrying two and a changing bag. Yes, someone will help if available, in which case you have to choose which of your babies won't mind being carried by a stranger and then dumped on a play mat.
I could go on and probably will, however I must say that having twins has been the most amazing experience ever and they are totally adorable and (this may be annoying to some people) they have slept through since they were six weeks. My boys were nightmare sleepers, but amazing too.
I can tick off the first in my "to do" list now. Fab xx
